Out of a desire to establish a space to exchange ideas with practitioners from different fields, Simone Koller initiated a workshop series at Bibliothek Andreas Züst, inviting guests from the fields of art and science to choose a topic related to the library’s collection and to explore it together with participants over the course of two days.
So far, ten workshops have been held. Amongst others, we subverted idioms with Tine Melzer, used smartphones to experiment with various forms of reading and writing with Hanna Bergman and Marie Raffn, played with different roles in front of and behind the camera with Jan Gassmann and Carmen Jaquier; transcribed, rewrote, and recombined found text fragments with Delphine Chapuis-Schmitz; and learned about the values of unpaid labour and economic relationships with Mascha Madörin and Mirjam Bayerdörfer.
